Wellness Wednesday: What I Eat In A Day

Today's Wellness Wednesday is a very simple "What I Eat In A Day". I love seeing what others eat and how they balance their diet so I figured what a good way to showcase a balanced day of eating. This is everything I ate Monday 1/31/2022.. of course this is different day to day; however, I always have coffee in the morning and throughout my meals, I incorporate fruits and veggies at some point! 


Typically I'll have one cup of coffee (about this size) with creamer. I do not measure out creamer, I just know how much I like and how much is too much at this point. 


We have quite a bit of fruit this week so I chose a banana and some "cotton candy" flavored grapes. 



The fruit and coffee didn't hold me over that well (as expected) so I made a protein smoothie and this contained protein powder, oat milk, mixed frozen berries, fiber supplement, and hemp seeds.


While I went into the kitchen to make up something for lunch, I snacked on these peanut butter balls I made over the weekend (haha!)


For lunch, I usually have leftovers; however, we haven't had as many leftovers to eat over the following days so I cut a piece of pizza crust/bread we had from Trader Joe's and I made myself a little pizza! 




For dinner, I typically include at least protein and a green. Depending on the meal, I might also add in a starch or carb, but this night, it was pretty lean and I had a salad with fajita chicken (one of my favorite recipes!). 



Lastly, I had a cup of tea while I was reading. Usually this is how I end my day... either reading or in the bath but I love having tea around 8 - 9 pm to wind down!
