January Book Recap

After doing this for the month of December, I wanted to continue this and make another book/read recap for the month! Let's jump right in...  

A Flicker In The Dark - Stacy Willingham

Okay.. this book is definitely a 10/10 from me. This is a thriller and there was a solid chunk throughout the book which you may, like me, assume or think you know the ending, but what you think it not right!! The ending of the book is so unexpected. Overall, the book is an interesting and solid read; however the ending really brings the book beyond expectations. 

The Last House Guest - Megan Miranda

This book was one that I had not expected to be so I good while reading. I really enjoyed the thrill and the ending; however, my one pet peeve would be the sequence of events being, in my opinion, dragged out longer than needed. There was a chunk throughout the middle of the book where there was repetitive confusion and I could’ve went without that but overall, it was a good read!

Verity - Colleen Hoover

This book was the book of the month for the book club I am in. I was being told over and over again how good it was before I started reading it and I have to say.. It definitely met my expectations! This is my first Colleen Hoover read and it did not disappoint. 

I had a LOT going on this month and I did start a fourth book; however, I didn't finish so you'll have to read about that one in my February recap post!! :)
