Game Day Eats
Hi everyone! I don’t watch football and I haven’t been to a Super Bowl party in a few years but I know the food is still the better part of the party.. haha! I’m going to share some delicious and easy game day recipes for your next football game day party, especially with the Super Bowl just weeks away!
Buffalo Chicken Sliders
What you need
- Tyson chicken fingers
- Hawaiian rolls
- Lettuce
- Ranch
- Franks buffalo sauce OR homemade (hot sauce and butter)
How I prepared
- Grease a baking pan with cooking spray
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls and lay the bottom half of the roll in the pan
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Airfry the chicken strips at 350 for about 15 minutes (depends on the size)
- cover the chicken strips with the buffalo sauce
- Create your slider by adding the lettuce, chicken, and ranch
- Bake for approximately 5-10 minutes
- Serve and enjoy!
Peanut Butter Dessert Dip
What you need
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 container of whipped cream
- 1 cup peanut butter
- white icing
- chocolate sprinkles
- (optional) Nilla wafers, graham crackers, pretzels
How to prepare
- Mix the cream cheese, whipped cream and peanut butter together until combined
- Take the combined ingredients and form into the shape of a football
- Wrap in Saran Wrap and place in the fridge for about an hour
- Cover the entire football with chocolate sprinkles
- Draw on the “Football lines”
- Serve with Nilla wafers, graham crackers, or pretzels!
Taco Dip
What you need
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 can black olives
- 1 bag of shredded cheese (I use the Mexican blend)
- 1 can of tomatoes with green chiles
- Sour cream
- Shredded lettuce
How to prepare
- Cook your refried beans on the stove and once warm, line the bottom of the baking pan with the refried beans
- Spread the sour cream evenly across the refried beans
- Brown your meat and once browned and seasoned with the taco seasoning, layer on top of the sour cream
- Spread the shredded lettuce evenly to cover the beef
- Spread the cheese evenly to cover the lettuce
- Top with with the tomatoes with green chiles and black olives
