HBO Max Christmas Movie Night

It's the coziest time of the year and I previously posted a brief "Holiday Movie Night" post; however, now we're fully into December and the lists have been updated! I wanted to make a few separate posts to provide more or additional lists! HBO Max pretty much has classic movies, or movies that have been heard of or seen before. 

Deck The Halls

Deck The Halls in one of my personal favorite Christmas movies. It is about two neighbors who essentially go to a Christmas decorating war. Both husbands want to have the best house on the block and will do whatever it takes to outshine the other. It's a good laugh to add into your night! 

Elf 

I feel like everyone has to have seen Elf, but if you haven't it's about a man who was part of an Orphanage as a baby and on Christmas, he crawls into Santa's bag and ends up at the North Pole. He is raised by an elf man and believes he is an elf as well. Early on in the movie, he is told that he is not an elf and given the information to find his real dad. When doing so, he faces quite a few setbacks and obstacles. I won't give away the end for those who haven't seen it but this is an absolute must watch during the holiday season! It is funny and very sweet. 

Four Christmases 

I love this movie! It's about a couple who consistently takes a vacation over the holiday timeframe to avoid the gatherings; however, one year, their flights are cancelled due to weather and they cannot get out of the dysfunctional events this year. They visit multiple family homes and discover things about each other and their relationship that they hadn't prior. They discuss important relationship topics such as marriage and kids that were not important prior. This movie is another that will have you laughing, but will also warm your heart!

The Polar Express 

Another classic movie! The Polar Express, again if you haven't already seen it, is about a boy who essentially does not believe in Santa and the magic of Christmas and he spends an entire night getting to experience and see this magic. 

Christmas Vacation 

This is probably one of the most classic of Christmas movies. This is about a man who tries so hard to have the "perfect" Christmas and maintain a positive and cheery mood. This being said, the man is constantly being tested and he is being treated poorly, especially given the timeframe. This movie will definitely make you laugh!
