Why I Started This Blog

A lot of people that I know personally have questioned why I created this blog. I think it's so interesting because this is simply something I enjoy the same way they enjoy their hobbies. I have read other's blog for a few years now and I've been wanting to start my own blog for about a year and a half now.. I've just been scared, honestly. Unfortunately, putting yourself in a position to be so accessible and some of your personal information that is being shared to be relatable and authentic is now public and this can be very challenging and hard to deal with because I think it makes you a lot more vulnerable; however, it is so brave and appreciated by others to know they can relate to someone.

It is amazing to me what connections can be made through the internet and how blog posts can be so helpful, or empowering to someone else. With this being said, this is mainly why I started this blog! I've been craving connection for awhile now and unfortunately, I don't find a lot of that around me within the city I live. I already love to share things with people and personally, I love to connect with other women and bloggers about everyday things such as fun things to do or places to visit or recipes. I feel like as I age my interests have done a complete 360, and I don't often see this being matched. Fortunately and unfortunately, today it can be hard to determine who is authentic or not. It's also hard to determine who has your best interest or not and who is simply trying to sell a product.

My main goal in creating this blog is to find connection. I would love to meet some new people who share similar interests and hobbies as me! I would also love to create an outlet for resources such as love recipes, inspiration, travel tips and guides, and more! These are the things I look for within women I look up to and am inspired by. So, hopefully this cleared up any questions you may have had! :)

Thank you for reading! Xoxo
